Well Paying Careers: 30 Jobs That Pay $30 Per Hour

I talk a lot on this site about saving money, and for good reason. We must develop good saving skills in order to meet our goals, however, thats only one side of the coin.

As some of you know all too well, its hard to save money when there isnt much coming in.  In order to save money, we need to be making money.

Some of us may feel stuck in a particular job or career that doesnt pay well.  In that case, if youre looking for ideas for a career change and want to know about some well paying careers, then youve come to the right place.

Recently, Career Builder ran an article on MSN that described 30 jobs that pay between $30-$39 per hour.  That tranlsates to salaries between $62,400 and $81,120.  In most circles those would certainly be classifed as a well paying career.  Career Builders list was interesting with a wide variety of jobs.

A few years back, I tweeted about participating in a no-spend challenge. To my surprise, the owner of a coffee-shop in my area sent a tweet back berating me for encouraging others to do something that would hurt local businesses. One in Four Brits Spend 40% of Take-Home Pay on Debt Payments, Reveals Debt Solutions Company, Debt Relief Orders

The report from Moneysupermarket.com revealed that the average amount of non-mortgage debt paid off each month is GBP322 a month, around 25% of the average monthly net salary for a UK adult, while a shocking 8% claim to have spent over 80% of their wages repaying debt. And despite women having the reputation for being prolific shoppers, it is men that appear to have 15% more personal unsecured debt compared to their female counterparts – on average GBP7,944 compared to GBP6,739.
